The San Diego Unione Tribune featured the US Antarctic Marine Living Resources (AMLR) Program's 25th anniversary field season with a story in Monday's paper. The field season began in October of 2010 and continues through March 2011. Currently, two field stations are being operated, one on King George Island and one on Livingston Island. Additionally, an oceanographic survey is being carried out in the vicinity of Elephant Island and the South Shetland Islands, surrounding the two field stations. The survey started January 10, 2011 and will end on March 18, 2011.
