Critical Habitat Expanded for Endangered Leatherback Turtles off the U.S. West Coast

The National Marine Fisheries Service has designated almost 42,000 square miles of marine habitat along the U.S. west coast as critical habitat for the endangered leatherback sea turtle. The final rule was published in the Federal Register on January 26, 2012.
