Researcher Mary Yoklavich enters the Delta submersible for a dive off San Nicolas
Island, one of the Channel Islands off the coast of Southern California.
Together with researchers from UC Santa Barbara, Mary’s team uses the Delta to
assess fish assemblages in deep water. This particular cruise focused on cowcod
within the Cowcod Conservation Area.
