1. Get depth of water in meters from the deck officer.
2. Find depth along the x-axis and follow it upward to where it intersects the center oblique line (45°).
3. Follow the nearest horizontal line below the intercept over to the y-axis. This is how much wire, in meters, to put out for the net tow.
