The NOAA ship David Starr Jordan is one of a fleet of vessels owned and operated by the NOAA Corps' Office of Marine and Aviation Operations. The ship is home ported in San Diego, California and conducts research cruises in support of NOAA Fisheries' Southwest Fisheries Science Center.
