The AST is intersted in educating young people about the variety of physics, math, and engineering opportunities that exist within the field of marine science. Through a growing outreach program of talks at local schools, curriculum creation, and hands-on internships we strive to expand the knowledge and expectations of middle and high school students with regard to conservation biology and careers in marine science.
