Bottlenose Dolphin (Tursiops truncatus) [California Coastal Stock]

Locations of all coastal bottlenose dolphin sightings recorded during year-round aerial surveys in California (Carretta et al. 1998). Surveys were conducted primarily from the U.S./Mexico border to Point Conception, California (34.5 N), although two surveys extended north to central California.
