The California Current Marine Mammal Assessment Program conducts a wide variety of cetacean and pinniped research in the Pacific Ocean.   Research projects range from nearshore California waters to Alaska, the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands, and the Eastern Tropical Pacific.  Research categories include:
