Napa Student Rewarded by NOAA Scientists for Finding Green Sturgeon Satellite Tag

SWFSC Fisheries Ecology Division researchers Ethan Mora and Liam Zarri met with third grader Deja Walker to thank her and give a $20 reward for finding and returning a pop-off satellite tag. The tag is part of a NOAA study to estimate after-release survival of green sturgeon caught in the California halibut fishery.
