Tina joined the Science Implementation, Planning and Policy program in October of 2014. Her primary responsibility consist of preparing and coordinating the Marine Mammal & Turtle MMPA/ESA research permit with the Regional Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee and the Office of Protected Resources. Her other roles include overseeing day-to-day budget execution and reporting, maintaining expertise in development of inter-agency agreements, preparing data calls, and leading preparation of research permit applications and reports.

Tina has been with NOAA Fisheries since 2007 as a database administrative assistant with FRD. Since graduating from UC San Diego, she worked as an HMS Information Analyst II/Scientist III. She gained extensive experience working with data. In that role, her key responsibilities were to collect, manage, and report information from U.S. fisheries of highly migratory species in the Pacific Ocean. She contributed to annual data submissions by providing technical review, compilation of business rules, and validation management.
